FTC sends checks to eligible people who bought cars from Coulter dealerships
The FTC is sending 5,790 checks totaling more than $2.3 million to people who were harmed by Coulter Motor Company’s hidden fees. Coulter owns car dealerships around Arizona, including Coulter Tempe, Coulter Cadillac Tempe, and Tempe Buick GMC.
According to the lawsuit brought by the FTC and the State of Arizona, Coulter regularly charged people for unwanted add-ons that they never agreed to pay and other undisclosed fees.
