The Office of Physical Security (OPS) protects people, secures spaces, and ensures the continuity of agency operations by establishing and maintaining a secure, resilient, and well‑protected operating environment. OPS carries out its mission through the following core activities:
- Deployment of physical and procedural security mitigation devices and measures.
- Development and issuance of security, emergency management, and continuity policies and procedures.
- Completion of facility security assessments and implementation of prudent risk‑mitigation measures.
- Review and investigation of physical security risks that may impact agency operations.
